We are your local luxury eyewear specialists, proud to exclusively offer Chopard, Cartier, DITA, Lindberg and Cutler and Gross frame collections in the Wolverhampton area. We also pride ourselves on having one of the largest collections of Tom Ford eyewear locally along with the highly sought-after prestigious Lindberg Precious Collection. In addition, we also stock Moscot, Dita Lancier, Morrel, Lamarca and many more. You will feel spoiled for choice by the fabulous range of frames available to try in practice and our experienced stylists are on hand to guide and advise you to find the perfect eyewear.

.Samantha Hague Optometry was established in 2008. 

Samantha Hague has been a registered Optometrist since 1992 and several members of her team have been working together in optics in Wolverhampton since 2008.

Together, the whole team have more than 120 combined years of knowledge and experience in delivering exemplary, award-winning eyecare.

National award winner

Samantha Hague Optometry was awarded the enviable accolade of ‘Independent Practice of the Year’ at The Optician Awards in 2022. Selected from a shortlist of some of the most renowned practices across the UK, their superb trophy is proudly displayed in the window of the boutique. This award is a testament to SHO’s exemplary team who, led by Principal Optometrist and Practice Owner, Samantha Hague, are proud to consistently provide unparalleled service and care right here in Tettenhall.

2025 saw Samantha Hague Optometry shortlisted once again for Independent Practice of the Year, further recognition of the care and service SHO continues to provide, and whilst there was no trophy this time, it’s quite something that it’s now three times that SHO has been shortlisted as a finalist for this coveted title in just six years of operation!

Independent Practice

SHO is now one of only a few truly independent, practices in Wolverhampton.  Unaffiliated with any franchise group or national chain the practice is owned entirely by Principal Optometrist, Samantha Hague, and her technician-husband Paul who both work full time in the business.

Independent ownership gives us complete freedom to provide you with the very best, tailored care with the widest possible choice of frames and lenses without the influence of central sales targets and faceless shareholders.

Our modern practice has been refurbished and fitted with leading-edge, hi-tech ophthalmic equipment. From eye health assessments to verifying refractive errors, the latest technology allows us to offer the most thorough and best possible personalised care to all our patients, while the latest innovations in eyewear, lenses and contact lenses are offered through the wide ranges of brands we offer.

Our one and only boutique in Tettenhall Village reflects the independent, family-owned nature of Samantha Hague Optometry. The practice offers you a comprehensive range of eyecare services, supported by some of the best technology available for the most thorough assessments. Exquisite, and often exclusive, frame collections are available for you to explore in practice, available with a wide range of leading lens options.

Transparent Pricing

Many opticians’ practices heavily discount their ‘sight tests’ and recover their costs through the selling of glasses. Our eye examinations are priced correctly and we will give you honest, impartial advice as to whether you would benefit from any other products, such as new glasses, with a totally relaxed approach towards sales. Whilst we have a special focus on luxury eyewear and premium clinical services, we also continue to offer and support NHS-eligible patients and offer frame and lens options to suit all tastes. For added affordability, eyecare plans are also available if you prefer to pay monthly.
