Samantha Hague Optometry

The number one lens supplier in the world has a long history of innovation and development. The company developed the first modern varifocal lens, Varilux, in 1959; the Crizal coating that resists dirt, scratches and reflections; Prevencia to filter out ‘blue light’, Eyezen occupational lenses and Transitions, the light intelligent lens that adapts to overhead weather conditions. The premium Sapphire lens coating makes for one of the hardest and clearest lens options on the market and comes with a two-year manufacturer’s guarantee. Lens options in various indexes, with higher index lenses helping to reduce thickness and weight, are available. We are able to offer the full range of Essilor lenses as part of our dispensing process.

Tokai are a family run bespoke Japanese spectacle lens manufacturer who specialise in premium ophthalmic lenses. With over 80 years experience, Tokai Proudly design and manufacture some of the most exclusive lenses currently available, including the world’s thinnest organic lens material – 1.76 index* – which is available in both single vision and progressive designs, sunglass tints, and has transitions and high base curve availability.

From the unique 1.76 index, our ground breaking Lutina material (that sets a new standards in terms of high energy violet light protection), our 1.70 Index (that is perfect for rimless and inline frames), and all that’s in between, we look forward to perfecting your next eyewear choice.
